Sure, the author has some biases and makes some errors on some historical points. Put that aside and you will be treated to a little bit of information on a whole ton of interesting recordings you have never heard. This is a perfect hunting guide for your next cd buys or downloads. I had a blast going through this book, learning about new recordings and comparing opinions about ones I know.
