The Lock
Benita Kane Jaro
I am quite astounded by this work. I have read and enjoyed many titles on this and related themes, including, most recently, the many popular stories by Steven Saylor and the wonderful series of books by Coleen McCullough. But this book grabbed my attention as no other, moving with assurance and perfect speed through a world as real as last Tuesday. And it is so much the result of excellent story telling. This is living history as far as I am concerned. The issues of that generation of western mankind are with us today as we live in the long shadow of the American republic as it strains and teeters at the edge.
If you thought there were no more riches in this mine, think again - and buy this book.
