An Atlas Of Functions
Jerome Spanier, Keith B. Oldham
There is nothing in this book that is not in Abramowitz and Stegun.
But the "Handbook" is ugly, and this "Atlas" is the closest a book can be to a piece of art.
I have used the handbook in a need-to basis.
The atlas, instead, I visit it regularly just for the joy of reading it.
Yes... I agree the routines are "cumbersome" or "funny", but... who cares! With the current software available no one will use that section, and the rest it's simply brilliant, impossible to improve.
